Well written, thank you. I will be having my aortic valve replacement surgery tomorrow, 1-9-17. NOT looking forward to it at all but I am glad that it will finally be done with so I can look back on it and move forward and heal. It would be easier to accept if I had more significant symptoms. There have been times that I have been dizzy and I am tired every day but everyone has similar experiences. The tiredness could be because I don't get a lot of sleep due to the stress of being unemployed for over a year.

Kelton Glewwe Hi,

I got A bovine tissue valve. It has a fancy name I can't remember right now. I choose a tissue valve because I do not want to be on a blood thinning med for the rest of my life. I'm also hoping valve surgery techniques and mechanical valves will improve over the next 15-20 years when I will probably have to have that valve replaced. Kelton
