Linda Obercon Thank you Al! I’m disappointed in telling you that my surgeon cancelled my surgery scheduled for yesterday. He said my creatine level too high and if he proceeded with my surgery I’d be on permanent dialysis. I was shocked! Cried, and now numb. My nephrologists is coming in from his vacation to see me tomorrow, my cardiologist changed some meds and is convinced with IV fluids my creatine will come down and tentatively I’ll be rescheduled for the 18th. Anyone have a similar experience? My creatine is 2.23. Surgeon wants me 2 or lower.🥲

Kathy Ozio Ana is right. Thankfully you had a surgeon who was looking out for you. As disappointing as it is, you dont want anything that would make it more difficult for recovery. Everything was perfect for me going into surgery and I had complications which resulted in a longer recovery. Will be praying for you!

Hi Linda, thinking of you. I used to live in Albany, NY, not too far from you. Good time to have the surgery, because the weather it so lovely up there this time of year. You can actually walk outside, unlike Virginia right now! Will be following you along and making sure I say a prayer and more for you, my fellow "upstate-er. Soon you will be all fixed up and in recovery. Hang-in-there
