Hello Lisa , Read my story 💜. I have severe stenosis !! 4.2 cm aorta .. Bicuspid Valve !! Year ago I went to the VA for a bad sciatica issue .. Doctor noticed murmur, which I knew for years.. However, this VA doctor lost interest in my sciatica, and he went right for the echo !! Due to pandemic, I didn't get report til 2021 !! If not for the sciatica issue, then I still wouldn't have a clue since no symptoms !! Some doctor/s like to monitor aorta size, some doctor/s take action !! A friend had a 4.9 cm that was wrapped, however, same surgery replaced his Bicuspid Valve .. He told me that ( two birds one stone ) than re-op for valve replacement years down the road !!
