Hi leesa , I eat what I like and have plenty of green leafy veg and salads too . There is lots of info. Online about warfarin and vitamin k . Look out for the most recent ones because there have been many changes over the years and a lot of scaremongering / myths . Some foods are higher in vitamin k than others . So not a good idea to have loads of the ones that have lots of vitamin k but you can have some , the dose of warfarin you end up taking will take this into account ( ie. The kind of foods that you usually eat ). We eat meals the same as pre warfarin . I have much less fresh juice . Some alcohol . Plenty of fresh fruit . The anticoagulant nurse will give you advice too , they ‘re really helpful and adjust your dose of warfarin if your i n r goes out of your i n r range . Mine just phones / leaves a message on my phone . You are doing really well , life will carry on and your family will be very happy that you are there .
