Yes day by day things are getting better. I think my bones are more sore today than after surgery but nothing that Tylenol doesn't help. Hartford hospital was great as far as my team of doctors and nurses but the food was terrible.. Lol have you had your surgery there?

Jim Hernandez Nothing like the recovery process and those special tylenols ! We were hoping to have surgery close to home at hartford hospital, but my cardiologist recommended on the down low, not to stay local for my mitral valve replacement. From what we were able to gather, the surgeon who had the most experience with the type of repair/replacement that I would need, had left. So now I have interviews set up in both Boston and New York with guys that have a few thousand of these procedures under their belts. I'm sure it was great to just take a trip down 91 to get home when you were released aye? So how was your procedure?

Michelle Maring My procedure aortic valve replacement and a aortic anuresum repair went very well. I can't say enough good things about my surgeon, who is the Chief Cardiac Surgeon. I am starting to get a little anxious from boredom now, however, I am getting ready to start cardiac rehab soon so I will be ready to move forward with recovery and back to normal. Glad it went well but not for the boredom! I can only anticipate what that will be like before heading to cardiac rehab. I work for UPS, so I already know my recovery will have to be fully complete before heading back to work and getting the clearance for what that entails...until then I will have to find ways of filling my boredom ha ha ha
