Hi Nishant. Best wishes to you on your surgery. You will be on your road to recovery very soon! I also have BAV with aortic aneurysm and my surgery is scheduled on 10/28. It has been a hard decision, but I think I will probably land on the mechanical valve as well. You are young, and your choice is the right choice. Also, if that is your little boy in your photo, he is precious.

Paula Barbee Hi everyone! I’m new to this community. Dr Doolhab recommended it. Looking into have my mitral valve repaired (or replaced). Had no idea my symptoms for the past few yeArs could have been related to my mitral valve! If needed I’ll be looking forward to getting my active lifestyle back! Has anyone had a valve replacement and been put on coumidin? It’s a decision I’ll have to make before surgery.
