Peter and Sandra. Haven't seen any recent updates on how Sandra is doing and hope all is going well with her recovery. If you get a chance Peter, it would be nice if you could send us an update. Tell Sandra we are thinking of her and I hope your cold has gotten better.

Peter. Hello Brother. Terrie here in California and it is 4:48 a. m. I am having coffee and read your post. Take a deep breath and give yourself a minute to reign in the emotions a bit while we talk via the journal, ok? If you send a phone number to:tsyvertsen1@sbcglobal.net where I can call you I would be happy to call and give your some phone company while you are waiting. If you can't do that I will be at the computer and we (and anyone else up this early)can keep each other company). Peter- Many people are praying for you and Sandra and have been for quite some time. This and the fact many are probably up all over the country and reading your post so I can imagine many prayers going out for you both this day and are going to be with you throughout her recovery as well. Other than having a "Heart Shuttle" that can take us around the World to be with each other at times like this it is the best I can offer this morning! Don't you have anyone from the assisted living place where you live who can be there with you as you wait? I wish I could let you know how she is in the best of hands for this procedure and that all of the people surrounding her at this moment are going to do every thing possible to fix and mend her heart and get her back out to you as soon and safely as they can. Peter, keep the faith within you focused on what lies ahead for you and Sandra. With your loving support and hopefully with people in your home, there will be no more talk of the surgery as it will be OVER and Sandra will not have to continue with all of the anxiety and fear that led up to this morning. Just the fact that you are there right now is one of Sandra's greatest gifts facing this surgery and the days that will follow. So please, continue to show the strength and resolve you have shared with her and us as well while you wait. Believe that all that can be done is being done and that she is being watched over by the one who's hands guide us through this Life that is such a Gift. Please help because I am nervous I have forgotten my login info they just wheeled sandra back to the operation room a few tears but very courages could you help.

Peter and Sandra. I realize that it is Sandra going in for surgery on Feb. 23rd. and want to tell you how blessed Sandra is to have someone like you to be at her side before and during her recovery. You are a Prince among Men. I have followed as the two of you have been supporting others In the community with your love and your prayers. Believe me when I say that God surely has you in his hands for the upcoming surgery and afterward in her recovery. There is a saying I learned from my Mother while young that she would repeat over and over again in the home and had this written in paper and stored in her "makeup box" where she would bring it out from time to time. It goes: There is a destiny that makes us Brothers, None goes his way alone. All that we send into the lives of others comes back into our own" by Charles Edwin Markham(Known for his Poetry and famous Quotes) I think of all of the love and blessings and encouragement you have spread around the community sense you joined for Sandra and want you to know that through this I believe like "Charles" spoke of above in his famous quote--all that you have sent into the live of others will and is about to come back into "your own". That is how great God's love is. I send my love and prayers to both you and Sandra and ask her that she hold fast to her Faith, and people who are sending her love and prayers for the best outcome in her upcoming surgery and believe with all of her beautiful and unique heart that the outcome will be great. We will all be here to support her through her recovery as well. Stay strong you two.

Will keep Sandra (and you) in my prayers. I had a mechanical aortic valve replacement and a double bypass on Oct 19, 2011. Not fun by any means. And I had a little "hiccup" on the road to recovery. Namely a home Heath care nurse that didn't wear gloves when touching my wounds. She thought hand sanitizer would be enough. Wrong!!!! I got ecoli in my incisions from her. But once they dug the infection out and I went through an aggressive IV antibiotic treatment, I started recovering rapidly. So don't let any one touch her unless they are wearing clean gloves.
