Renee, if your symptoms are new now, (Feb 2016) why not get another consult with your cardiologist? It won't do any harm and seeing the doctor might be just the thing to either ease your mind or move them forward. I went to a cardiologist specializing in adults with congenital heart defects, and she really listen to my complaints. I thought they were minor complaints, but she took everything seriously. My own cardiologist sent me there so I could see these specialists. And it was a great idea. Hope you can find answers💕 Best Regards 🌹

Barbara Laurie Hi Renee, No, I've spent the last 4 months working my way through lots of tests ( that are all a month apart it seems!!😑) and just now waiting for a date. I was born with this congenital heart defect(CHD), Ebstein's Anomaly (EA) and have been followed all my life. My last visit to UCSF where there are specialist that work with CHD was showing signs that surgery is needed. Can I say that your BP may have nothing to do with your heart or heart valves, and could be from the stress you're under. I'm prayerful you will get some answers so you won't be so worried. Kim Murray Hi Renee , I too have mitral valve stenosis and aortic regergitation /stenosis, is yours caused from rheumatic fever as a child. I am suppose to go to clevland clinic for a consult with dr.smederia. They had said my mitral valve is severe but my aortic is moderate, but they want me to have my surgery has soon as possible, but I don't want to😕

Renee Merrill Hi Kim. I too have been going to the Cleveland Clinic. What kind of symptoms do you have? I was not born with it or from rehumatic fever.. We believe it is from the cancer treatment. Too much radiation i had about 15 years ago. And the chemo that I have recently I'm sure hasn't helped either. I think I would want to have the surgery now if I had the choice. I just don't want to have to have all the "bad" symptoms that come along with our diagnosis. So how were you diagnosed and when? Thanks for talking with me👍🏻 God bless ❣
