Sean Hunt Im doing well. I was very happy with CC and Svenson did a fantastic job. Sorry fr the delayed response was at Disney with my family. Rode all the rides 7 months post op and kept up with my 7 year old. Life is good.

Hi Sean, I was thinking of you today as it has been 1 month since your surgery at CC and 1 month until mine. I noticed you have not posted any updates in quite some time. I hope that you are doing well. I am very interested in your experience as I am having the same surgery with the same doctor at the same hospital so anything you have to add would be most helpful! Hi Sean. I had aortic valve replacement in 1996 when i was 19. I just turned 40 and teaching hs science. So over 20 yrs and no probs and my artificial valve is still ticking strong!! Have an appt now next week to see if i need surgery soon for my ascending aortic aneurysm. So glad you will be getting it all done at once. You will do fine!!

Sean Hunt Thanks Meredith, just logged back on for the first time. I kind of am just trying to ignore the fact that I am waiting on a surgeon to call me to schedule the process. Im well read on the surgery and recovery. My undergrad degree is in biology, and I have great friends who are doctors, including one that is a cardio thoracic surgeon. None of that dampens the fear I have of the procedure. What has helped me most is reading the results and comments of people going through a similar experience. It means a great deal to me that you reached out.

I am supposed to go to Cleveland for the surgery, so all of the logistics related to that are a bit overwhelming currently. I don't have a date set yet, but mu guess would be in the next 30 days. Ill keep checking in with the site regularly, and thanks again for reaching out.
