West Coast Vern! Today is our 2 Week Post-Surgical AVR Celebration! How are you doing out there in Fountain Valley ??(have no idea where that’s at but it sounds awfully nice) Doing great on the East Coast here with my recovery....so far! Just walked 45 minutes and have been doing that for almost a week now (everyday). I see my Heart Surgeon this Monday for a 3 week post-op and will most likely start Cardio Rehab soon after. This surgery really zaps the energy......one minute I have energy and the next minute I do not! Let us here from you and how you are doing! East Coast John

Vern Ahlo Hello "East Coast John!" Glad you are moving forward and doing great. I agree with the energy levels. I just got back from my 2 week check up and doing great. I am walking 2-3 times a day in our warm Southern California weather. I am at the border of Huntington Beach about 5 miles from the beach. The only issues I have is consistent sleep and left shoulder and back muscle cramps that we are working on. I'm thankful to everyone who worked on me and all of the support by family, friends and this site. Thanks for checking up.
