Vivien Appleby Hi to Lynda Ruiz and Catie B. Thank you for your welcome messages. I have just joined the Community and I must admit that I am still finding my way around. I have known that I since antenatal days that I had a bicuspid aortic valve but basically caused me no problems. A new doctor, in latter times sent me off to the cardiologist with an echo being done. What followed was 2 yearly visits and then as things progressed - yearly. Last week I was told to return in November. My feeling is that surgery is not far away. Thanks once again for the welcome messages.
