Ruth Valenzuela I just read your journal, and you are right about when someone talks about doing something to your brain or heart it is a little daunting! That is so true and yet some people that have never gone through anything so alarming can kindly tell you, Oh you'll be alright, don't worry. As long as it's not them, they can be calm but to be fearful and apprehensive is very normal and understanding. I too was fearful and thought of all the wrong things that could happen. I went through my surgery to replace my aortic valve and aortic root just last year, 29 Sep 15. I frantically sought out all the people I knew that were prayer warriors and asked them to please keep me in prayer and my outcome was very positive. The recovery was harder than the actual surgery. It just took time to feel 100% but it comes eventually. One positive thing that I experienced is that I really didn't have hard pain like I thought I'd have. I'll keep you in prayer and yes, the sooner you get it done, the better!
