Amy Steele  Hi Kelley! Welcome to the site. Looks like things are moving fast for you. My story is very similar to yours. I was diagnosed with a heart murmur at the age of 2, and confirmed a bicuspid aortic valve via heart cath at the age of 8. My valve is getting very stenotic and my cardiologist decided it was time to have it replaced. I also have coarctation and aortic aneurism, which were diagnosed with my CT scan for the surgeon. This is pretty common with congenital aortic valve disease. I'll be having surgery next Monday and have chosen the Medtronic Freestyle tissue valve which is the aotic valve and aortic root as an all-in-one. Hope this helps!
