About Me (In My Own Words)
I am 63 years old. bicuspid valve was diagnosed In my 20's. I was seeing cardiologist every 5 years. I waited 6 years this time because it was mild stenosis My echo showed it was now severe. I thought that my fatigue was normal aging.
My 2nd opinion appt is 5/10. I am hoping that a mini sternotomy is a possibility. Makes sense that a shorter scar will equal a shorter recovery.
