About Me (In My Own Words)
Mechanical Aortic Valve placed and Dr Gerdisch repaired my ascending aortic aneurysm. When home 5 days after surgery feeling great! Ended up back in the ER due to Atrial Flutter and have now been started on Amiodarone. Hopefully it will be short term. Back in sinus rythm for now! Hopeful to stay there and get off Amiodarone sooner rather than later. Not a fan of the medication because of what it can do to you long term. But it’s better that the alternative! Dr Gerdisch is a master! I couldn’t have asked for a better Doctor and staff to take care of me! They truly care and it shows in every aspect of the care they give!
