About Me (In My Own Words)
My story would take to long to type. Hate to bore people as well. Between 3/18-3/19/20 I went into cardiac arrest 3 times. I had emergency open heart bypass surgery resulting in an aortic valve replacement immediately followed by renal failure. Unconscious for 6.5 days. Yeah, I was go en 10-20% chance to pull through. Somehow I did. My nurse told me it was a .miracle. Surgeon would never use that word it he did say he thought I was gone. The kicker of it all is that covid-19 is actually to thank for saving my life. I had no idea I had endocarditis. On March 18th I went to my annual checkup, this is when NY first started screening. I was running a low grade temp so I was td I had to be tested for covid before anything. My Primary Dr. was directly across the street from the hospital e.r. where I was told to get tested. As I was registering, last I remember was getting my insurance card from wallet, woke up a week later in the i.c.u.. I had gone into cardiac arrest while regeresting for the covid test. How's that for timing. All the bad luck I've had and continue to have in my life, but God gave me good fortune when it couldn't of mattered any more. Anyway, I thank God ev6day and can't grasp why he chose to save me. When I'd of gladly of had him take me for any one child in that hospital or any other that fight every day. Pray for them people, PRAY FOR THEM, PLEASE. Thanks and God bless all of you..... Chris
