About Me (In My Own Words)
I’m late forties, and up until April this year considered myself fit & healthy. I love water sports & all things outdoors. Then out of the blue in April 2019 I had a stroke. Subsequently, Aortic stenosis & regurgitation was diagnosed as a result of having a bicuspid aortic valve. Things have moved very rapidly since & I’m now in hospital awaiting the Ross Procedure. Hoping for a return to normality thereafter. No more chest pains, dizziness or breathlessness! The hardest part of all this is the worry it has/is causing my hubby & family. That’s the hardest to bear at this stage.
