About Me (In My Own Words)
I am Olga Landry's Husband. I was diagnosed at the age of 16 with mitral valve prolapse and was told that by age 18, if it had worsened, that it would need replacement. I am now 48 1/2 and, crossed fingers, toes and eyes, I have been okay. I have slowed down recently with shortness of breath and some chest discomfort. I am going for a full physical on Tuesday. Hoping all this is just due to my being overweight. I am really here to support my beautiful wife during her difficult time with her amazing heart. Olga is the most caring, loving person I know. She has been my strength and hearts' desire for more than 20 years. If the day comes that I need valve replacement, I know she will be there for me. I have read many of your letters to Olga and find peace in knowing that you are all here to uplift and support each other. Thank you all for your support.
