About Me (In My Own Words)
Diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse over a decade ago. Louder murmur discovered by wife (who happens to be a cardiologist) and been "wait and see" for about a year. Doctors recommended it's time to get it repaired and scheduled to go in for surgery on October 17th. Very anxious despite everyone telling me it's going to be ok. Putting my faith in my doctors and the thoughts and prayers of all my friends and family -- knowing that I have an extraordinary support network to help me through this.
