About Me (In My Own Words)
I had been through over a year of different procedures. I had atrial fibrillation and so they gave me medicine. Medicine stopped working so they gave me my first ablation and it worked for about a day or two and then went right back to fibrillation. So few months went by and they wanted to do another ablation so they did that and they did two procedures, I forget the name when they stop your heart and then restart it they did that three times only to no avail. My heart continue to be an age of fibrillation. Finally this past February 2023 they did the AV ablation and put me on the pacemaker entirely, my heart rate stays pretty steady, still have palpitations, but I don’t feel them anymore. None of the procedures really made me feel any better. I have a lack of energy and extreme shortness of breath. I had fluid buildup to the point where I had to go in the hospital three times I think in a year but the last inspection on my heart they saw that the mitral valve was just flapping back-and-forth and washing the blood back-and-forth so they wanted to do a mitral valve clip procedure. Something that’s pretty new they don’t have to go through your heart. It’s are not open heart surgery at least they go through your groin area. Well, good news after the clip procedure I feel much better people tell me my color is better than I look better all the time. So thank you, Dr. Nagaraja
