7 years ago I had a heart murmur that was so loud that my wife could hear it across the table from me. I went to a cardiologist, who found that I had a prolapsed mitral valve. The regurgitation wasn’t serious, so he told me to get it checked every few years. This year I went to get it checked for the first time since then, and the doctor found that the regurgitation was much more serious and my heart had enlarged. He recommended mitral valve repair. I’m still looking into when and where. It’s great to join this amazing community of people, I look forward to learning more and getting to know you all better!
