About Me (In My Own Words)
Update: Aug. 28/2020
just passed my 4th Heartiversary earlier this month (Bio Valve PVR Aug. 2016). Doing ok now though still often tired if I over do activities. Been walking a lot outside since the start of the pandemic, wish there was an easier way to build up my endurance.
Have a Cardiac MRI booked for end of Sept. (annual tests), no exercise stress test yet this year, due to Covid-19.
Not a very fun time to be a heart patient. **Shrug**

I was born with pulmonary valve stenosis. I had open heart surgery at age 1 yr to fix that and an ASD.
My second open heart surgery is set for Aug. 10/16. i have my pre op consult at 7:45am the day before surgery. That's when i'll first meet the surgeon and we'll make a decision as to what valve is best for me. i'm hoping for a bio-valve as i don't want to take warfarin forevermore.
My mom is going to drive me, the city is about 4 hrs away from where i live, on Aug. 8th.
