I was diagnosis with mitral valve prolapse with severe regurgitation in November 2018. My local cardiologist had been monitoring it for a few years. In January 2021 I was also diagnosed with SVT. I had to have an ablation in May 2021. My cardiologist felt it was time for surgery, he wanted to make sure my valve was repaired before it got too bad and needed replaced. He referred me to Dr Gillinov at the Cleveland Clinic. Once all of my medical records were sent to his office for review, it only took about a week to get me on the schedule for my surgery. Dr. Gillinov and his team were GREAT. I highly recommend him.
