About Me (In My Own Words)
Hello diagnosed over 2 yrs ago with (mild MVR)
But last year it was moderate to severe mitral regurgutation.
During our annual physical exam on our company i had a ecg findings.
During consultation with my cardiologist Dr Mikey Reyes, he ordered me to have my 2d echo. And asked me what happen why its progress to soon.
I remembered i had COViD and i got 2 boster for Covid Vaccine. I dont know if its the reason why its progress that fast.
And when the result came in he asked me if what happen to me last year it was mild the al of a sudden it became moderate to severe.
So to confirm the 2d echo test, he ordered me again the test which is TEE( the test done at O.R sedative like endoscopy type test) and there confirm also that my regurgutation was moderate to severe so he askes me to get a team of doctors to check with might be do the surgery he gave me referrals to 2 diff surgeon.(March 2023)
I also got 3 opinion to confirm the diagnosis. I was so shocks at that time i cried during consultation.
I was not on my self a month i just cry and cry.
I search for my valve disease and here i find this heart valve surgery.com
Talked a lot abour disease.
Educate us.
And after 3 months around July 2023 he ordered me to repeat my TEE test and again the results was not good it says that the regurgutation gone severe and i have a dilated left venchicle
Together with my husband edward, my cardio.told me that the surgery is time that will do it while my ef is good 66 percent
I done my Coronary Angiogram last August 26 and thanks god no blockage seen on the test.
Now im preparing for the day of OHS
Hope the ops will be successful and hoping that it will be just a repair and not replacement..
Thanks
Lea D.
