About Me (In My Own Words)
simple knee surgery led to being told I had a heart murmur and need to see a cardiologist in June 2012. Echo and cardiologist appointment were scheduled for the following week, results showed aorta stenosis, Bicuspid valve. I was in disbelief wondering how it was possible healthy very active female, it had to be a mistake!
Following year another visit to cardiologist no significant change, I was advised to keep on living my life as normal.
That has gone on for several years, only change was a CT w/contrast instead of a ECHO. UNTIL June of 2019 when the story changed a bit and the doctor determined now is a good time to start thinking about moving forward withe surgery.
