Maureen, this all sounds familiar. I have bicuspid aortic stenosis and after an annual echo in June 2019 it showed progression; repeat in Jan 2020 and it was worse. Completely asymptomatic....which messes with my head. Anyway, scheduled for AVR and ascending aorta replacement on 20 Feb. Wishing you all the best. You are not alone in this journey. What swayed me was both of them emphasized it was better to get the procedure done now than wait until symptoms start which could mean other challenges beyond the valve tightenng
