About Me (In My Own Words)
I was born with aortic stenosis which was diagnosed at six months of age and I had my first aortic valve replacement done when I was 34 years old when I received a natural tissue valve replacement which lasted for almost twelve years. I now have a St. Jude valve and am learning to adjust to life on Coumadin.
