Born July 27, 1939 at San Jose City, Nueva Ecija. Married to Lilia Arguelles Saulog from Imus, Cavite. Two daughters: Leilani with three kids (Paolo, Lianne, Patrick) with Paul G. Hinlo, and Rowena with only child, Kate, with John Orrock, Australian.
Undergone triple coronary by-pass in July 1988 and had a stent inserted in one of my coronary arteries in November 2003. My cardiologist, Dr Sue Ann Rivera Locnen of St. Luke's Medical Center, Global City prescribed on June 15, 2013 that I undergo two procedures: CT-Scan of my abdominal aorta and CT-Scan of my thoracic aorta. Based on the results of these procedures Dr Locnen indicated that I have a Severe Aortic Stenosis which need immediate treatment thru Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI). Dr Locnen mentioned that Dr Flavio Posas, also of St. Luke's Medical Center and Asian Hospital and Medical Center at Alabang, Muntinlupa City, who has successfully performed 18 TAVI procedures, maybe able to do the implantation.
In the course of my confinement at St Luke's Medical Center from June 30 to July 15, 2013, I went thru three major procedures; insertion of additional stent, TAVI, and implantation of a back-up pacemaker. In addition I was made to endure many monitoring procedures and laboratory tests.
