So, Mama didn't make it. She passed away 2 days after her surgery.
I'm only mentioning this because I want each one of you to feel grateful and actually LIVE every moment as fully as you get to.
Our loss is unbearable but reading your news and knowing that any of you all is recovering smoothly is something that makes us happy and eases our pain.

What a bright light she was. You must take after your Mama, given in one of your darkest moments you choose to give to others (us) with an inspiring message. On our walk back from the hospital she felt a bit tired and asked to sit down.. that's Mama in the white Hijab. She handed me a banana from a little bag she was holding and told me "let's have a snack, we'll never get to sit like this again after my surgery because i'll be walking all the way down to the car park without pauses. Let's enjoy my short breath while we can". This lovely woman just knows how to be optimistic about everything. She's the best💕
