Three weeks after aortic valve replacement I'm doing good I've been driving and grocery shopping so far so good I mite be able to go back to work next month the hardiest thing so far for me has been not smoking I have not had a cigerette since sept 23 the day of my surgery not even one puff

Eleanor R Wow you are driving after just three weeks, that's amazing. I was told I could start again at 4, but I was too chicken, afraid of quick turns of my head/shoulder for merging and parking. It was such a liberation to drive again, I understand. Take good care of yourself, stopping smoking is one the best things you are doing for yourself. Eleanor
