Had my first Cardiac Rehab session this morning, walked for 30 minutes on the treadmill, no shortness of breath, and blood pressure was appropriately lower at the end. However it's early afternoon, and I'm ready for a nap! One day at a time, and by the grace of God, each one better than the last.

I had my AVR via ministernotomy on April 7. Except for a hiccup with my inguinal drain (sutured internally, oops) recovery has been good. I return to work part time tomorrow, one month after surgery. In the ultimate of ironies, I'm a Clinical Educator and Cardiac Rehab nurse. Still sleeping in the recliner, but every day I have more energy. Keep me in your prayers.
