Do you have surgeon recommendations in Dallas area? I see both UTSouthwestern and Baylor Scott & White have excellent ratings, but if you have specific doctors you recommend, I'd really appreciate it. I have aortic valve stenosis and aortic root dilation that need to be addressed soon. Mine is bicuspid, so if you know someone who is experienced/knowledgeable with it, even better! Thank you so much!
Jose Maqueda I recommend Dr karl Reyes he’s the head of adult congenital heart surgery he’s amazing

Eiko Neusaenger Hi Adam, I have already asked Dr Doolabh's office to access my test results so far for a review and am waiting to hear back from them, mainly because I am interested in minimally invasive procedure if that's an option for me. Do you think it will be good for me to reach out to Dr Brinkman as well to do the same while I am waiting? This is my first major operation in my life, and I am unsure of how to get second, third opinions. Is it normal/OK to reach out to multiple doctors at the same time or should I go one at a time?

Adam Pick Great question. I don't think there is a right or wrong way to do this. Personally, I set up two appointments with surgeons considering that it might take some time to schedule those consults. Working in parallel might get you the answers you need sooner than later. But, again. There is no perfect way to do this. That said, you are doing a great job. Take it step by step. This will all work out. You have locked into two incredible surgeons!

J Alexander Lassally Eiko - It is fine to have multiple consults running at once. If one doc knows you are shopping around, they know you are a discerning consumer, and that matters. It did for me.
I recall Doolabh stressed "speed" in his videos.
