Dr. Sun, Torrance Memorial. Anyone use him?
My story: strep throat as a child, diagnosed with a heart murmur, then prolapsed mitral valve as a teen. Recent shortness of breath led me to urgent care and they told me get to a cardiologist ASAP. 60% regurgitation on echocardiogram, angiogram 5/18 confirmed regurgitation, enlarged heart, calcification on mitral valve.

Nancy Surprenant Takahashi Hi Elsie, I live in Torrance and had surgery for mitral valve repair on 4/10/18. I did not have my surgery in Torrance, I traveled to Cedars. I had Alfred Trento. I figured I wanted the best I could get, hopefully I will only need OHS once. You can google him and check him out. LA is a bit of a drive with traffic and all but this guy is AMAZING.
