Hi Adam, day before yesterday I was admitted because of severe back pain and the CT scan showed I had coccydynia and spondylitis. My ortho needed an MRI, question was I safe for an MRI with the metal valve? I eventually did got after he consulted my cardiologist. Hi Cathy and Christy, I wish you all the best in your upcoming surgeries. I did my mitra replacement 2 years ago, I was 38 years old so my doctor choose for me mechanical valve. I was pretty very sick at that time and after my surgery and back to normal, you can say not 100 percent but atleast a decent life. Am also on warfarin and I check my blood every 2 weeks. All the best and keep us posted after the surgery.

Hi everyone, I hope this post finds everyone well. This question goes to Adam, I love in kenya and vaccines for the Covid 19 aint that readily available. Now that they have restocked near my town I would like to know from you guys if any of you that have had the vaccine got any side effects. For a few years now I have become very sensitive to medication, I get bad reactions after taking certain medications. So please update me on how u guys faired after the vacation. Marie Myers I got 2 Moderna shots, and had only a sore arm from them. I am about to get my third shot next week.
I also had 2 Moderna shots and the Booster, all I had was a sore arm.
Rose Madura I had the Pfizer shot and no booster. I had a sore arm and swollen glands.

Civita Fahey I had Covid, though a mild case in Janaury and then got the vaccine. I had no reaction to the first shot, but the second shot I had body aches, chills, sweats for about 24 hours. Everyone reacts differently, but either way, its only for 24 or less. My cardiologist was all for taking the vaccine and I felt it was the best thing to do.

Though we still practice appropriate safety measures (masks, distancing, etc) it has given us great peace of mind, especially with family.

Whoo hoooooo, this goes to Adam, congratulations, I pray to God to give you good health and happiness. I celebrated 1 yrs anniversary with a huge smile knowing that I hv fought and survived, its not a smooth journey as ppl think about it, it's a roller-coaster but we're here now and we're thankful for having this opportunity.
