I have had four open heart surgeries they had to replace my heart valve since I was a baby then five, twelve , and then my last one was 6 years ago on March 26, 2008 . And since my last one I have been doing well I was able to breathe well, and finish a sentence with out being out of breathe , I was able to read a story to my nieces and nephews and being able to finish it. But lately that's been happening I've been out of breathe when I talk, and read stories, I go to my heart doctor once a year and they said so far every thing looks good there's a mild leak in my left valve, but nothing too concerning. But my question is why am I so out of breathe when I do the stairs and when I go to my rest room in the middle of the night or anytime I am always out of breathe when I get back into bed and it scares me. ? I started doing my nebulizer 3xs a day and it still happens . So my question is why Is it happening am I out of shape or is it because of the heart valve .?
