Taken aback however when I learned two days before flying to Rome with friends that I had severe aortic stenosis. Needless to say saw cardiac surgeon instead of Rome.Thought dyspnea due to age, overweight.Wrong......😊

Nancy D lots of folks here have rented an electric recliner. Not necessarily one that stands you up but can recline without pulling a handle. They have found that well worth the money for the first few months, especially early on when you can't lay flat in the bed. Also people recommend a large wedge to put on the bed. I spent some of my time in the waiting zone cooking ahead and freezing meals; although my husband is an awesome cook, it gave him some time off in the kitchen. ;-)

Nancy D Jan, I am currently looking for work. However the large majority of current listings are 12hr shifts in critical care areas, work I didn't do as a young woman, and certainly am not entertaining those now! I am being very selective and am looking for Part time or PRN work somewhere. The only full time that I may consider is the telecommute nurse from home via the phone. I had an interview last week and it was quite promising, but yet haven't heard back yet. I think I have a few more years in me, if I am careful about what I get into! ;-)
