Hello everyone and Adam,
It will be 3 years in June since my aortic and mitral valve replacements, Im praising my Lord and Saviour and Healer, Jesus Christ for bringing me back to my feet again. My family and friends were amazed on my recovery, my husband and I are back in the US and I am back working again and doing the things i used to do, until now I dreaded the thought that I might do a heart surgery again in the future because I had a tissue valves and my surgeon said it will be good for 15 years or less, i am confident that the God who made a miracle in my life will do it again because He will never leave me nor forsake me. I was bone and skin after my surgery but now I started my diet because i am too overweight. God is really good all the time! My husband and I did a lot of travel last year , im so blessed to have a wonderful and loving husband he took me to several places when my doctor told me that im good to go and when i regained my strength, this summer we will go to Paris! Im still taking coumodin and flecanaide , my doctor said he cant discontinue it because of my history of stroke. Anyways, i have nothing to complain because the Lord has been so faithful to me and He never fails.

Its almost 9 months since my surgery (aortic/mitral valves replacement). I am praising God for getting me back to my normal life. My cardiologist hooked me up with a holter for a month to determine if im not having AF anymore before she can take me off coumodin and amiodarone, i hope the result will be normal Coz I really want to get out from this medicines so i can go back to eating vegetables again(my favorite food) , my voice is still husky. I searched that Amiodarone causes the hoarse voice. My husband and I will go on a month vacation to the beautiful beaches in the Philippines and I thank God for making all these possible.

I walked 25 minutes this morning, i felt my heart pounding too fast , i took my pulse rate and its 89. my scar is hurting. Its more than three months now since my surgery and I dont feel any better yet. i feel so frustrated. I will see my doctor today
