Have congenital bicuspid aorta heart valve that has been monitored for years. This January an echocardiogram showed that I entered the world of severe stenosis. CT scan at MUSC in Charleston, SC confirmed that SAVR would be required. Will be setting a date for surgery in next couple weeks. But, hey - I made it to 80 with my BAV.
