Bern Bradley I decided to remodel one of our bathroom’s so I know just what you are talking about. I called a very great friend of mine and said “Can we do a bathroom remodel in 4 weeks?” He said “For you my friend, “Hell Yeah” and now we have contractors ripping everything out….
Also I now understand what women go through before the birth of a child in respect to “nesting”…
Yes I must try to clean up and get everything in order even though I have limited energy.
All while reading many different books about heart surgery like….

Pamela Gregory I agree with Klara. The only other time I cleaned like before this surgery was when I was "nesting" before the birth of my daughter. Before surgery I was feeling completely out of control in lots of ways but I could clean every inch of that house, so I did (hahaha) . The good news is, if I ever get back to DE I have cleaned curtains, sheets, floors(in corners of closets even), windows, window sills, drawers cleaned organized and lots of other things.

I think its good to keep your mind occupied and it feels gratifying. You will be going back to it and you want everything prepared

Got good days and bad days but I am trying to stay positive

Well I met with my heart surgeon on September 28, 2022, to discuss the results of my TEE procedure as well as my Heart Cath procedure which I had on September 7, 2022.

Well I was informed that I needed to have replacement surgery and Dr. Dean Nakamura recommended that I not wait too long to schedule. He actually recommended that I get the surgery before the holidays.

Well I thought “ Yeah Right”…. Who wants to be laid up during the holidays. Well it became apparent that I truly need to take care of this now after trying to carry a 30 lbs bag of dog food from the garage into the house. I was huffing and puffing after only walking less than 100 feet.

I called the office this morning October 13, 2022 to get on the schedule. And now I am scheduled for OHS to replace my Mitral Valve on November 14, 2022.

Stressed out but that par for the course I guess.

Susan Lynn Mark - I remember how winded I was with a small amount of exertion. You'll be glad to put this behind you. Having surgery around the holidays isn't as bad as you think. I had mine on Dec. 1. You'll be a little tired on Thanksgiving, but you'll feel good by New Years Eve! All the best to you!
