Just wondering - 6 months after robotic MV repair, I have some tenderness in my chest and that's remained fairly constant. It is not painful or all that bothersome, but I do notice and it just doesnt seem to be going away like I thought it would. The tenderness is approx. 20 pct of my chest area and is not numb but tender. Is this experience common and will it over time disappear? Thanks!

Richard Munson I am 3 months into minimal invasive not robotic and every now and then it feels like an ice pick has been inserted into one of my small scars. It usually lasts for a minute then goes away till the next time. My surgeon says he had to cut thru a lot of stuff between my ribs but eventually it will grow back and things will be normal again.
