Hello, I am from Canada and just signed up on this site thanks to Joseph for informing me about it. I just had my second Echo Cardio and everything is still good. 4.6 cm. All the other measurements did change but they are not concerned as of yet. I am 51 and seem to be very healthy. The only thing I do get is shortness of breath that I thought was anxiety before I knew I had this disease. My father passed away three years ago at the age of 77 and he to had a bicuspid heart disease. He had surgery on bowels but then a few months later had some infection that affected his heart. They only knew then he had a bicuspid valve. However he has had heart problems for years. Had two heart pacers put in starting in his 50's and all kinds of heart meds etc. Out of six children in our family I am the only gal with this BHD..So that is the start of my story..I look forward to keeping in touch here and reading everything I can.
