Hi everyone! My story is actually about my significant other. He's 67 yrs old and suffers from severe mitral valve regurgitation and tricuspid as well. He went through a TEE a few days ago and was admitted to the hospital for observation. They put him on a lacix drip and got rid of 2 liters of fluid. He was then discharged. His Dr will not perform a repair because he says his heart wouldn't be able to handle it. His EF is around10-15% . All he wants to do is put him on meds which makes him extremely ill. We are so frustrated at this point. We are going to get another opinion however. Has anyone here gone through a similar situation? I would love to hear from you. Thank you all and God bless
