Just updating as hopefully my journal may help others in similar situations Had an appointment with a cardiologist on Friday, lasted all of about 15 mins, said I shouldn't be too concerned with feeling washed out as he didn't think it has any relation to my heart, he had a listen to my ticker & said all sounds fine, my blood pressure was a little high but probably down to me worrying. Also mentioned could be withdrawal symptoms from no longer taking Lanzoprazole, think my body got used to not having acid indigestion ever. Feeling a little more back to myself today, still a bit washed out & also I look like a lobster today as was sat out in the sun all day, if anyone else at work asks me why I'm so red today I might kick off :) Anyways good health to everyone on here, have a good week Wayne

Hello all I had aorta valve repair / root replacement in June 2013, as I was young for this surgery at 36, my recovery was quick & I was back at work after around 12 weeks followed by a trip to Vegas in not long after Just passed a year ago since & every follow up appointment is all good, besides a little leaking of blood from the valve which I've been told is pretty much normal On my last visit to my surgeon he took me off the PPI I was taking (Lanzoprazole) & immediately I'm feeling not well, constantly tired, having some kinda palpitation maybe 3-4 times a day but its hard to explain as not experienced it before, having headaches also. Contacted my GP but at the time I was starting to feel better, they suggested it was some kind of virus & to contact them if it continues, purely coincidence due to time of coming off PPI I have a follow up appointment tomorrow with a cardiologist at my local hospital so will mention it then as after a year I was feeling pretty much all ok Posting on here for the 1st time as wondered if anyone else has had similar experiences ?.
