Hello, Wayne. I am to have AV replacement next week, so I am not able to answer your questions, I hope others can chime in. I would encourage you to do what you are doing, pay attention to your body and notice what is different, and keep returning to the GP and/or the Cardiologist to report changes in symptoms. I believe we know our bodies and sometimes have to press on the medical allies to pay attention. I am having a follow up meeting with my surgeon for similar reasons, to make sure I understand what is going on and that he knows my concerns. Take good care of your self, and I hope you feel better soon.

I am due for Aortic Valve replacement on Aug. 20th.
Thank you for the well wishes for my surgery-Right now I will be thrilled at the prospect of "Waking up and knowing it is behind me". I have learned a lot from our heart-sisters and brothers in our hear-community. It has made it so much easier to know we are not alone in our journeys.
You are awfully young and that is a huge plus to your continued healing and I do hope you get past the current things you are experiencing.
