This is my 1st anniversary from heart valve surgery the 27th of June, 2018. I think I am doing well. I keep thinking back to 2018 on this date where I had no idea what was taking place. I praise God that you found your way to the Cleveland Clinic and you are still alive and I hope getting progressively better and better. It takes several months and I am just now realizing a whole year for me to feel consistently well. Hang in there and keep updating your guestbook because you have had quite a journey. I had my aneurysm burst right as the surgeon was closing so I am also a miracle. We all on this site have something to celebrate. I am so great full that Adam wrote his book that helped us see options that we needed to take advantage of. I also went out of state but to Plano, TX for mine. Many blessings to you,

Thinking of you today Amy. It has been exactly one year today since I had OHS. A day I will not forget. I hope all goes well for you and you have a good recovery.
