Hi Connie, This is a great idea! We are so glad that we can log in any time to see how things are going for you. The younger two are out of school on the 12th, so we will also be at morning mass praying for you, your doctors and your family...blanketing you in love and positive energy. Hi Connie - and welcome. Your story is very similar to my own. Discovered when I was young and told to follow up over the years. I also remember doctors - including my obgyn listening to my heart and exclaiming "have you ever heard your murmur?"! Mine was obviously quite loud as well. Some days I feel quite strong and confident - trusting that God has led me down the path of decisions - and some days I quite literally want to crawl into a hole and play the "what if" game. Reading others stories on this site reassure me that "I can do this" one day at a time. Lots of people praying for us so stay strong. You can do this - and soon we will both be on the recovery side of this challenge and able to encourage others facing surgery. God Bless us all - Lisa
