Hi Debbie, Your story is almost identical to mine. I was dx incidentally with BAV almost 20yrs ago-surveillance echo January 2022 showed valve now severely stenotic (my aorta is reportedly okay)and am also on my way to surgery on3/10/22. My cardiac Cath showed coronaries in great shape and was offered TAVR but given my BAV I've opted for minimally invasive savr.Didn't really feel symptomatic ---I exercise a lot. However, now realize that I was ignoring/blowing off my decreased endurance and tightness in my chest (and I'm an NP--talk about denial). Look forward to following your course--my trajectory about a week behind you.
