Gary,
I am so happy to see someone that has had the surgery at Northwestern with Dr Malaisrie. My cardiac specialist, Dr. Rigolin is with Northwestern and I am in wait and watch mode for my Moderate to severe Tricuspid regurgitation as well as mild mitral valve and aortic anuerysm of 4.1. I did speak with Dr. Malaisrie last year to see what his thoughts were about my case, and he said I would be a good candidate for minimally invasive, but he said to wait until I have more symptoms. It is hard to just sit waiting when it is all I think about almost every day. I hope to get this repaired sooner rather than later, but guess I just have to trust in the Drs and when time is right, they will let me know. Best wishes to you on your recovery! Keep us posted along the way, and keep up the amazing work you are doing to heal quickly.

Good luck with your surgery next week. I love your optimism. you'll be back to running up 103 flights of stairs (takes my breath away thinking about it) in no time. I have family in Evanston, my mom grew up in Glencoe, and I always loved going to visit. The Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago is one of my favorite places on earth. Ill be praying for a speedy recovery next week!
