Good luck Joel. It looks like your original valve replacement was done about 15 years ago. If someone can get 15 years out of an animal valve that is way beyond what they say you'll get. I hope my Pig valve lasts that long...done it Dec. of 2015. Let us know how it goes

Joel...I had the same surgery but with a pig valve about 2 years ago. My surgeon explained to me that vigorous exercise may take a little time off the life if the valve but its negligible. I, too, exercise about 3-4 days per week and don't plan to stop. Gotta live our lives. Keep rockin' n Rollin'' Joel
