Johnny, my INR has been pretty consistent at 2.0 so they haven't tried to lower the dose. I take 6 mg of warfarin a day and have had that same dosage for about 6 months. My surgeon did say in Europe they are using a 325 mg aspirin and no warfarin for the On-X valve. The FDA has not approved that here in the US yet. I am happy with my recovery. I have done 2 half marathons since surgery and am back to mowing the yard and doing lots of other household jobs. Good luck. Ask any questions you can think of.

Johnny Gonzalez Sounds incredible Clare! I'm so thankful for sharing with me your experience with the On-X. I chose the On-X because I want to avoid a third OHS.. if I choose a bovine valve at my age of 37 I would most likely need a full invasive surgery again as the TAVR is not a guaranteed option in the next 15 years or so. My pre-op is today Wednesday and the reality of the surgery is starting to kick in.. I have no words to explain how I feel.. Hardly sleeping. Crazy my friend. Thank you once again and God Bless
